I am an accomplished Graphic Designer with over 18 years of experience, specializing in print design, production, prepress, copywriting, logo development, brand identity, website design, and photo manipulation. I serve my clients by creating attractive and effective marketing materials. In my many years as a skilled designer, I’ve accumulated a wide variety of experience working with major brands, agencies, and small businesses alike.

I grew up in the quaint town of Stratford, Ontario which, among other things (ahem… Bieber.), is known for it's artistic community and creative influences. "Stratford is synonymous with the arts: music, drama, dance, the visual arts, literature and the culinary arts. The City is filled with the sights and sounds of actors, musicians, chefs, hoteliers, artists and writers perfecting their craft and passion." It was Stratford where I acquired the values of hard work, persistence, and personal responsibility, typical of a small town upbringing.
Fast forward… In 2004, after receiving my 3 year diploma in Graphic Design from St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, I moved to Toronto where I spent nine years gaining a wide variety of experience and client work. Like many other skilled trades, it takes years of training and experience to excel at being a Professional Graphic Designer. Living in the big city provided excellent opportunities to sharpen my skills and master my trade. Since moving from Toronto, I have been working primarily as an independent contractor, continuing to gain experience, and hone my skills.
It's not JUST about being creative.
Graphic Design is about more than just making things look pretty. It's about communicating and solving problems. It's about understanding how colours, spacing, shapes, layout, and typography all speak to your audience to deliver your message. All graphic designers are creative (it's why we do what we do!), but it's not only a right-brained sport. It takes left brain thinking too! I am organized, practical, solution focused, and have a deep understanding of visual communication. I'll make your materials visually engaging AND effectual.
